What are the advantages of nickel aluminum alloy wire in the thermal spray industry ?
The basic composition of nickel aluminum alloy wire is Ni 95% Al 5%. The state is a pre-alloyed solid wire.
The bonding bottom layer of 955 nickel-aluminum alloy wire exists between the substrate and the working coating. The good metallurgical bonding not only improves the bonding force with the substrate, but also provides a rough surface for the working layer. For some special-shaped, too thin, and hard The base body that cannot be roughened by sandblasting, napping or machining is particularly suitable for the bonding bottom layer made of 955 alloy wire. The ideal method is to spray 955 alloy wire on the roughened substrate. The coating thickness should be controlled between 0.05-0.15mm, and it should not be too thin. Too thin bonding bottom layer cannot withstand the shrinkage stress of too hard and too thick working coating. Too thick bonding bottom layer will cause economic waste. When the substrate cannot be roughened, it can be sprayed with a low-pressure short-distance (50mm) method, and a very good bonding bottom layer can also be obtained.
Except for pure copper, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, and niobium, 955 arc spray wire can form micro-metallurgical bonding with almost all metals, and can also produce self-adhesive bonding with graphite, glass, and ceramics. It can be used as spray repair parts for internal combustion engine crankshaft, engine main shaft, machine tool rail, cylinder block, plunger, printing roller, blast furnace tuyere, babbitt alloy bearing bush and other spray repair parts combined with the underlying material. Because the coating has good wear resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance, it is used as a material for repairing aircraft turbine engine parts abroad.
