The classification of the casting steel ball
Chromium alloy is the main component of wear-resistant our grinding steel ball, oxidation resistance and high sulfur, diesel fuel, sea water
corrosion performance is high, the strength of the density than the general metal high. According to the Cr content %, casting grinding ball
can be divided into the followings types:
1, The grinding ball with chromium content 1% - 3% and hardness HRC ≥45 called low chromium alloy cast ball. ow chromium ball is produced
by the intermediate frequency electric furnace smelting, metal mold or sand casting .
It is suitable for the mining slurry industries which is low the grinding accuracy requirements and low wear-resistance .
2, The grinding ball with 4%-6%, hardness ≥47 called multi alloy ball, which is higher strength and abrasion than the low chromium steel ball.
3, The grinding ball with 7% - 10%, HRC ≥48 called medium chromium alloy ball.
4, The grinding ball with chromium content ≥10%-14%, HRC ≥58 is popular on current market and also very economic .
It is widely for ball mill of metallurgical mines, cement, building materials, thermal power, flue gas desulfurization, magnetic materials, chemical
industry, coal water slurry, pellets, slag, powder, fly ash, calcium carbonate, quartz sand etc. industry.
Especially , it is with high performance of increase production, and reduce consumption in the cement industry.
5, Chromium content ≥47, HRC ≥58 ,This kind ball is called special high chromium steel ball.It is suitable for the industry with high requirement
on grinding fine, and high abrasion .
